if The TR7 is running twin weber carbs, take them out and give them a good overhaul (strip them down and clean them right out) also replace the oil in the tops of them as your levels suggest, and make sure that both carbs are balanced in the amount of oil in each carb. This makes the car run alot better, as you are likely to find a lot of dirt and grit in the fuel catch at the base of the carburetors. otherwise, get the car servised and tuned. This will ensure it runs like a dream. It's a great engine to run, and for a car of that size should push it along quite well. regular maintenance is no problem however. Just keep your leaded fuel mix correct and check oil levels and she'll run gr8.

I heard some bad reviews about the Tr7, are there as many faults as they say? Coz I mean they're not bad looking, and I know the engine as it is the same as that in my Dolomite, but I heard they jump lanes. Is this true, because it seems unfair to judge the car in such a way.

MMMM, Very Different I must say. Love the lambo doors. Do you mostly go on or offroad, coz the muffler is a waste of time for offroad use, as i had a mate that had one on his "Holden" Rodeo Ute (Aus Model) went through a deep trench, mud got stuck in the thing, and evetually his $500 ehaust job rusted through. Or road though, might get cred, but still the car looks cool. Mr T would love it. lol! jks

nice, it looks like you guys live near the forest is that right? in Australia anyone living near the bush pretty much every year has to deal with bush fires. is that a problem in the U.S.? (assuming that's where you're from)

i cant put lambo hinges on my 67 , that would wreck the originality of a classic musclecar / hope they dont fall off with all the bouncing around .. how strong are the hinges / i never saw any up close yet. i dont know what i could put them on that would justify them lol tuners ya classics / no!!!!!!!!!!!!!
